2008 Alumni Theses Seminar --- Graduate Institute of Business Administration

2008 Alumni Theses Seminar --- Graduate Institute of Business Administration
by Department of Business Administration

During this semester, we offered one-day seminar for graduates and alumni on April 11, 2008. Graduate Institute of Business Administration organized subject-specific or interdisciplinary alumni seminars into various sessions. This seminar is mainly intended for our outstanding alumni, now they are teaching in different parts of Taiwan, and is generally carried out in accordance with NTU 80th anniversary celebration.

Seminar focused on alumni's past theses according to the main three branches — Organization Behaviors, Marketing, and Operations Management—and reconnects alumni with the school. Seminar also emphasized professional knowledge sharing, academic writing, leadership and fun.

The Ph.D. program of Graduate Institute of Business Administration started from 1987. Since then, we have cultivated too many academic talents in management. Now they devote themselves to education in different universities in Taiwan. And we are happy and honored to gather them to discuss and to share.

For this Seminar, we invited Vice-President George Tai-Jen Chen and Vice-Dean Shih-Ming Lin to deliver speeches to share their experiences in the academia. It was a huge feast, and all faculty members, alumni and our current graduates were much satisfied with the opportunity to exchange information. They wished to have another seminar again in the short time!
